A consolidation regulation runs on a separate Payroll Engine tenant and queries the individual country tenants via the Payroll Engine backend API. It pulls payroll results from multiple countries, normalises them into a common structure, and produces unified employer-cost and headcount reports — across currencies, legal entities, and jurisdictions. No manual aggregation, no spreadsheet exports.

How consolidation works

Consolidation regulations run on a separate Payroll Engine tenant. They query the country tenants via the Payroll Engine backend consolidation API and produce cross-country reports.

Separate consolidation tenant
Each region runs as a dedicated tenant in the Payroll Engine backend. This keeps the consolidation layer independent from the country tenants — they can be deleted or upgraded separately.
ExecuteConsolidatedQuery
Report scripts use the Payroll Engine consolidation API to query multiple tenants in a single request. Results are merged in-memory and rendered as a unified data table.
FRX report templates
Each consolidation regulation ships with pre-built report templates covering employer cost, headcount, and period summaries — exportable to Excel and PDF.
RegulationShare
Country WageType clusters (WT 7000–7030) expose a standardised interface for consolidation. The consolidation regulation uses these shared cluster definitions for data access.
